Nobody does details better than executive chef-owner David Slay of Park Ave, which is why his Stanton restaurant made our “Best Restaurants” list in April. Now he’s taken it a step further, with something he calls his beautiful obsession – a verdant paradise mere steps away from the kitchen. Last spring, with help from gardener Kathryn Agresto and the blessing of property owner Clifford Ronnenberg, Slay planted a chef’s garden that is the pride of the property and a midsummer’s dream for diners.
